Overview
SQL Server 2022 requires Pivotal SSIS Connector v1.3.06 (not v1.3.05) due to Microsoft SSIS component/assembly differences between SQL Server releases.
Use the correct Pivotal SSIS Connector version for your SQL Server version
The validated compatibility matrix is:
- SQL Server 2014 / 2016 → Pivotal SSIS Connector v1.3.04
- SQL Server 2019 → Pivotal SSIS Connector v1.3.05
- SQL Server 2022 → Pivotal SSIS Connector v1.3.06
SQL Server 2022 requirements (for v1.3.06)
- Pivotal SSIS Connector v1.3.06
- Visual Studio 2022 with the SSIS extension installed
- Pivotal CRM version 6.4.4 or higher
Important: If you are currently using v1.3.05 and moving to SQL Server 2022, upgrade the connector to v1.3.06.
Verify after installation/upgrade
- Confirm the connector appears in SSIS/Visual Studio as expected.
- Run a small test package against a non-production dataset to validate connectivity and execution.
- If you see runtime/component load errors after upgrading SQL Server, re-check that the connector version matches the SQL Server version (2019 vs 2022).
