Problem
Rn_Descriptor is set to display a Date field, but it does not reflect changes made in Windows regional settings.
In this example, a customer's system is set to French. When 'Short date' format is changed in Windows Region and Language settings, the display is correct (blue arrows), but Rn_Descriptor is incorrect (red arrows):
Cause
The language identifier is not set correctly in Toolkit. Refer to Microsoft's Language Identifier Constants and Strings document to identify the correct language identifier to use.
In this case, the language identifier was not set correctly for the French (Canadian) region:
Solution
Set the Language identifier to the correct ID:
This must match the identifier listed in Microsoft's guide linked above, as well as the Region and locale listed in Windows Region and Language setting in Control Panel:
